Baidu PC Faster Hits 3 Million Users after LaunchingUpgradedVersion
Bangkok, April 3, 2013— Baidu PC Faster today announced that it had reached 3 million active users after launching a major upgrade with version 3.0.
Baidu, China’s leading search engine, introduced its first Beta version of Baidu PC Faster in Thailand in June 2012. The software addresses many of the biggest problems commonly encountered by Thailand’s Internet users, protecting them from hacking attacks, viruses, Trojans and other malware. It also helps users recover available space on hard drives, improves boot time, and protects user privacy.
The new Baidu PC Faster 3.0 adds
· Cloud Scan: Intelligent, cloud-based protection with up-to-the-minute definitions to meet every new threat;
· ToolBox: 15 functional tools that provide easy solutions common Windows and Internet problems. These include Internet Repair, a diagnostic and repair tool that optimizes Web surfing; File Shredder, which can remove stubborn, hard-to-delete files like those generated by many malicious programs or gets rid of confidential documents securely and permanently; and File Recovery, which can help to recover accidentally deleted files from hard drives, SD cards, and USB memory sticks;
· App Store: Over one thousand quality software programs for free , one-click download.
All of these new features come with a user-friendly,Thai language interface.
