Amadeus supports Philippine Airlines’ growth strategy with new data analysis tools

Philippine Airlines President and COO Ramon S. Amadeus Market Information (MIDT) and Amadeus Air Traffic solutions work hand-in-hand to help Philippine Airlines drive revenue growth and increase market share as the airline prepares to expand its service in Asia, Middle East and soon in Europe.

With Amadeus MIDT, Philippine Airlines can monitor global market dynamics to aide in identifying profitable routes and developing more effective sales and marketing programs.

In parallel, Amadeus Air Traffic calculates an accurate estimate of air passenger volume for any origin and destination (O&D) worldwide, mining data from a large number of sources including low-cost carriers, direct airline online sales, airport data, civil aviation organisations and data from the main global distribution systems. The solution allows Philippine Airlines to evaluate current and possible new routes, identify the best connections for long haul flights, optimise planning and scheduling according to true demand and predict volatile market changes.

Amadeus also provides Philippine Airlines with consulting services, to help analyse the data and use the new solutions in the most efficient way. Training will also be provided.
